Surgical Instructions for Dental Implants

Do not disturb the wound. Any stitches that have been placed are reabsorbable. There may be minor bleeding and swelling after the surgical procedure. Soft food and liquids are recommended on the day of the surgery. Avoid chewing directly on the dental implant. Pain meds, antiseptic mouthwash and antibiotics will be prescribed immediately following the surgery.
